This project is sooo much fun! We’ll paint with all kinds of colors on the pottery
canvas with everything BUT, a paint brush! Then we’ll paint pottery stars and planets
to go on top of the canvas. Then we’ll cut out planets, stars and rockets out of paper
to use as a paper resist and put onto our colored canvas and then paint the whole canvas
black. Then when it’s almost dry, we’ll peel up the paper to revel the colors under the
black paint. (Think of those black scratch kits). Finally, we’ll add our pottery stars and more
planets.
Projects will be finished to be picked up after firing in 7-10 days after class.
