Meet Our Staff

Jennifer Balletto

  Meet Jen Balletto, the owner of Create It! She aims to make sure her customers feel welcome and have a fun experience in her studio.

 She puts all of her heart into creating a warm, friendly environment for kids of all ages to feel safe to develop artistic skills. Ironically, Jen only has half a heart as she was born with a Congenital Heart Condition. Growing up with less oxygen and energy then other children, Jen found arts and crafts to be something she could succeed in without competition or putting her health at risk.

 Through three open-heart surgeries, art became a positive focus to put her energy into healing. Jen learned at a young age not everyone in school has to be an athlete to be accepted. We are all born with our unique talents which makes us special.

 Jen hopes all those children out there who feel they are not an athlete, can be a super hero being an artist!      

Jessica

Hi there, my name is Jessica Lute, and I was born and  raised  in Northern California. Just a small time artist trying to find my way in the  world. I have always believed that art is a creation of the soul. My main interest has always been painting, and I am so grateful to now have a job where I can share this passion with fellow artists around the county. I also have a four year old son who continues to inspire me each day. I enjoy hiking, star gazing and rock and roll.

Abby

Hey, I’m Abby!
I am currently a student with an itch to let out my creativity which is why Create It has been the perfect place for me! I have grown up loving all different art forms especially painting, drawing and dance. When I have free time you’ll find me at the river, beach or in my room painting pottery or making jewelry. I am so grateful Create It has given me the opportunity to help people create amazing works of art!

 

Kylee

Hi! My name is Kylee,

 I have been a lover of art and creating all of my life. I am a full time student athlete and am currently playing softball at the Santa Rosa Junior College! I have grown up in Sebastopol, and just recently graduated from Analy class of 2024. Having the privilege to work in this wonderful community is such a blessing, and the fact I get to do something I love makes it even better 😉

Charlotte

Hi, my name is Charlotte and I am so happy to be a part of the team at Create It! I’ve grown up in downtown Sebastopol my whole life. From starting Pre-school to graduating High school, I’ve always been proud to have grown up here. One of my favorite things to do is driving to Bodega Bay with friends to watch the sunset and then go and get food after. I am currently enrolled at the Santa Rosa Junior College, majoring in business, in hopes of having a business of my own one day! Create It, has a fantastic environment, filled with pure happiness, there couldn’t be a better place to work! I am so grateful that I can stay local, working right in the heart of Sebastopol at Create It.

DeBi

I’m DeBi Tucker, proud mom of two.  I paint all the pottery samples for the studio.

When I’m not creating amazing food or painting samples, I’m  working on my own art. My creativity is in constant motion.

Zoe

Meet Zoe, our shop dog. Zoe has been coming to the studio with Jen for her entire life of 17 years and 10 months! 

Sadly, she passed away this year at the ripe, old age of almost 18 years (she was two months shy of ther 19th birthday). 

Over the years, she sat with kids reading to her, greet customers and laid in what she thought was HER blue chair!
