Enter the creative culinary world where campers will mix art with food.
This camp is geared for older campers as we will learn how to read a recipe on Monday and measure out ingredients for homemade granola. We’ll learn the proper way to cut an avocado to make guacamole and cut veggies to prepare salsa for our ‘Taco Tuesday’ fiesta we’ll have for lunch. Of course, complete by painting their very own guacamole bowl! Each camper will have a spicy fun time mixing up a ‘taco seasoning’ to take home too. Wednesday is our Cheesy day! We will paint a cheese plate along with a mouse who guards the cheese plates and sits on top. Then we’ll have a blindfold cheese taste test, and make our own cheese!
Thursday we’ll wrap up with a yummy education on chocolate and different types of sugar. Then campers will make a no-bake dessert treat to eat!
